4 Years Ago Today

I started posting images of things that appear outside my window and have continued to do so almost every single day. In fact, I see so much and take so many pictures that new posts are published twice a day and occasionally even more often. Over 1600 posts and almost 2000 images of stuff here at Purgatory have been “made available” and I have no plans to stop.

Yet now is a good time to revisit the very first image posted and to kick off a week long special celebration of all the things that appear outside my window and out an about here at Purgatory.org. So instead of two posts each day there will be some extras added in to the mix.

First image ever posted: a fox squirrel. They were once very rare here, but since building out the north garden and putting in the birdbath we have a resident pair now.
